About Reed MotorSports

Founded in 2015, Reed MotorSports is a father-daughter racing company built on passion, perseverance, and a commitment to helping drivers succeed both on and off the track. What started with no prior motorsports background quickly evolved into one of the most recognized karting programs in the region through years of hard work, dedication, and hands-on experience. Today, Reed MotorSports specializes in CRG chassis products along with LO206, Rotax, and Tillotson engine platforms, providing racers with competitive equipment, technical support, and driver development opportunities. With the largest karting program in the state of Louisiana, averaging 12–15 drivers at events, the team continues to grow while building a strong community around the sport. Reed MotorSports also offers arrive-and-drive packages designed to lower the barrier of entry into karting and make competitive racing more accessible for new drivers and families.

About Owner Camryn Reed

Ever since stepping into a kart at nine years old, Camryn Reed has embraced the role of the underdog. Coming from a family with no racing background, she quickly fell in love with the speed, competition, and adrenaline of motorsports after climbing into an LO206 cadet kart for the first time. By the end of her rookie season, she was already competing for wins, and only one year later she began capturing victories at the national level. By age 12, Camryn had established herself in both 2-stroke and 4-stroke karting, continuing to sharpen her skills against some of the top drivers in the country. Now 20 years old and a junior at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in Business Management, Camryn continues to balance her education with an accomplished racing career. Her achievements include becoming the third female driver to win at Daytona Kart Week behind Danica Patrick and Julia Landauer, the youngest and first female driver to clinch the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour National Championship in her debut F1600 season, and earning pole position while finishing seventh at the Tillotson Nations Cup. Through Reed MotorSports, Camryn now shares her experience and passion with aspiring racers looking to develop their skills and grow within the sport.
