Founded in 2015, Reed MotorSports is a father-daughter racing company built on passion, perseverance, and a commitment to helping drivers achieve their goals in motorsports. What began with no prior racing background has grown into the largest karting program in Louisiana, supporting drivers across LO206, Rotax, and Tillotson competition at both regional and national events. Through professional race support, technical expertise, driver coaching, and arrive-and-drive opportunities, our mission is simple: make competitive karting more accessible while helping every driver reach their full potential.
Meet Camryn Reed
Ever since stepping into a kart at nine years old, Camryn Reed has embraced the role of the underdog. Coming from a family with no motorsports background, she quickly fell in love with the speed, competition, and adrenaline of racing and was already battling for wins by the end of her rookie season. Just one year later, Camryn began capturing victories at the national level and continued developing her skills across both 2-stroke and 4-stroke karting competition.
Today, Camryn has established herself as one of the most accomplished young racers in the country, becoming the third female driver to win at Daytona Kart Week, the youngest and first female driver to clinch the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour National Championship in her debut F1600 season, and earning pole position at the Tillotson Nations Cup. Alongside her racing career, Camryn is passionate about helping develop the next generation of drivers through coaching, mentorship, and race-day support. Through Reed MotorSports, she shares the lessons, discipline, and experience gained throughout her journey to help drivers accelerate their own path in motorsports.

Karting Team Program
The Reed MotorSports karting program is built around helping drivers perform at their highest level through professional support, coaching, and preparation. At every event, our team operates a dedicated paddock setup featuring driver coaching, chassis tuning, race strategy support, and access to a fully stocked parts trailer. Drivers benefit from a competitive yet supportive team environment where shared knowledge, data, and experience help everyone continue improving. We proudly compete throughout the season in premier events including Texas Sprint Racing Series, Cup Karts South, Cup Karts North America, DFW Triple Crown, and select national-level races.
Arrive & Drive / Driver Development
Our arrive-and-drive and testing programs provide a simple and affordable way to get involved in competitive karting. Whether you're stepping into a kart for the first time or preparing for your next race weekend, we provide the equipment, instruction, and support needed to build confidence behind the wheel. Private testing opportunities are also available at Moore Park Raceway, allowing drivers to develop their skills in a professional yet welcoming environment.
Karts to Cars Program
The Reed MotorSports Karts to Cars Program is designed to bridge the gap between karting and automobile racing through the highly competitive Mazda Spec MX-5 platform. Built around driver development, affordability, and long-term progression, the program helps drivers develop the racecraft, technical understanding, and professionalism required to compete at the next level. With a focus on preparing drivers for opportunities such as the Mazda Motorsports Shootout, we provide a realistic and structured pathway for racers looking to turn their karting experience into future success in car racing.
